Our offer was "accepted" by the seller and trustee on Jan 5th, 2009. We're now at March 27th, 2009 and still have no clue what is going on. We supposedly made it to stage 3 of 3 over a month ago and all that happens in this stage is a final stamp of approval (review all the paperwork that has already been done). Honestly, how long does it take to look over a folder with 30-100 legal papers in it? We're about ready to walk, if we do the home is guaranteed to go into foreclosure and CW will lose yet another 100k+ on the sale.

If it makes you feel any better we made an offer on a short sale with Countrywide on Dec 27, 2008.
